【Greeting】 The Completion of “4D Art,” Manifesting My Universe, and a New Beginning
Painting is the very embodiment of one’s own universe. I am convinced of this.
After ten years of training in painting starting about 40 years ago, I discovered a theory of painting fifteen years later. By further refining my thoughts and incorporating a new approach, I have finally succeeded in creating “4D Art.”
In modern painting, without the aim of invention and discovery, there is no tomorrow.
Fusion of Eastern Philosophy and Western Technique
Fusion of Eastern Philosophy and Western Technique
My work is an expression of Eastern philosophy through Western oil painting.
I have dared to discard the linear perspective and the light systems emphasized in traditional Western painting. Instead, I integrate the visible reality of the world with the “imaginary visions” that appear when one closes their eyes, bringing them together on a single canvas.
Objects do not exist only in their outer forms; they only exist halfway. It is by simultaneously depicting the “inner aspects” and the “imaginary”—the other half—that a true three-dimensional entity, that is, a “perfect fourth dimension,” emerges.
A Gaze Fixed on Life and Death
I have consistently pondered the questions of “what is life?” and “what is death?” from an Eastern perspective.
If life is reality and death is imagination, then both dwell in the same space, and they can never be separated. It is this truth, which transcends the dichotomy of life and death, that lies at the core of my creative work.
My Path Forward
Until now, I have continued my creative expressions in the world of entertainment, but I am now prepared to dedicate the entirety of my life from this point forward to the completion and exploration of “4D Art.”
I sincerely hope that you will join me in enjoying this space, which has been constructed through my own unique system of thought.
